Nội dung phim

Phim xoay quanh Victor Fries - Mr. Freeze, một cựu nhà khoa học đã trở thành một tội phạm vì những điều kiện bi kịch. Fries sống ở Bắc Cực cùng với vợ của mình, Nora Fries, người đang bị đông lạnh trong trạng thái hôn mê sâu với hy vọng có thể cứu chữa được bệnh tật của cô. Khi hệ thống đông lạnh của Nora bị hỏng, Fries buộc phải quay lại Gotham để tìm một cách cứu vợ mình. Sau khi phát hiện rằng chỉ có một cuộc phẫu thuật ghép tủy có thể cứu được Nora, Fries bắt cóc Barbara Gordon - Batgirl, người có cùng nhóm máu, để sử dụng tủy của cô làm vật liệu ghép. Batman và Robin phải tìm cách cứu Barbara và ngăn chặn kế hoạch tuyệt vọng của Fries.
